Fairphone 6 rebooting

Fairphone 6 /e/OS 3.1.4-a15-20250915526528-official-FP6

I am experiencing multiple unprompted reboots on my very new Fairphone 6. I believe I was using the Magic Earth navigation app and Poweramp two of the three times that this error occurred, but definitely the last time it occurred. I have an SD card 1TB Micro SD XC UHS-I U3 A2 V30 that the music is being played from. Devices reboots, then powers back on and reboots again, up to four times in a row. Battery has plenty of life when this occurs. I don’t know if this matters, but I have an always on VPN and I have a few messaging programs that run in the background.

I am not sure how to get logs, if that is necessary.

Pl check if the issue is similar to the one reported in the above post. If yes the process of how to get the logs and where to share it is explained in the thread.

Hello,

Yes it is the same issue. It doesn’t really explain HOW to get the logs, more of just WHICH logs they want. Do I need to connect my phone in Debug mode to ADB in order to get logs?

Hello @Manoj,

I managed to figure out capturing my boot logs via cat log on Android Studio. I also created a gitlab account. But I can’t find the issue on gitlab. There is no link to the issue gitlab in the Development and Testing Updates and searching for the issue on the /e/OS gitlab didn’t turn anything up. If you can link me to the gitlab issue, I would like to share my logs.

The issue on gitlab. Check your logs before submitting them.
We once got a password in clear text in one of the user logs. Some applications save their passwords without encryption in the logs. This password was of one such app the user had on his device.
