can you go to the folder do a right click and say to open a terminal in that folder?

it was not possible with my old macOS 10.11
this is why the guide for macOS is so different from the guides for Windows or Linux

But i just tested a more orthodox way :

Installing /e/OS

Again reboot the device into bootloader mode.

On your computer,

• copy this command and paste it in the terminal :

cd  ~/Downloads/IMG-e/

• copy this command and paste it in the terminal :
  (replace “FP6” by your device codename)

chmod +x flash_FP6_factory.sh

• copy this command and paste it in the terminal :
  (replace “FP6” by your device codename)

./flash_FP6_factory.sh

you will get something like :

and it worked.
