Please implement a way to turn the front (and back) camera off.
The front camera is always staring at me and I never use it.
If I could, I would just remove it.
My Laptop has a manual shutter over the webcam.
There must be a software solution!
Maybe corrupt the driver or something?

Tape it.
You have the same problem with the microfone. But if you corrupt the driver to disable it, you cant phone anymore.
Sliders like that are available as smartphone Add-ons, too. Or, if such a slider is not applicable or if you really never use the camera, just use tape as @Fairphoner suggested.

I’m civil engineer by trade and it was merely a suggestion.
However, I might be a little insane. So no insult here.
I guess I’m going to tape it.
I would not mind something like stuxnet for the front camera.
Use tape, its good enough for the billionaire Mark Zuckerberg (on his laptop), and can’t be hacked.
My phone has been taped for ages.
