Did you already try whether a smaller font size makes a difference?
Settings - Display
Good pointā¦
But noā¦even with very small font, the button isnāt there.
Does this happen both in Themes dark and light? There was a report of the Save button being invisible back on black, but the button was still there.
Good pointā¦that seems to be where the error lies. But for me, the āSaveā button is visible in dark mode and invisible in light mode.
That should be corrected in a future update, right?

The update went well, not apparent issues appeared, until I noticed the battery drain pretty fast. My issue is that the connection to WIFI from home gets lost once I go outside, and have to rely on 5G. Once I return home, the phone does not āseeā our wifi and instead stays on 5G. Nothing helps except a reboot.
What I also notice is that the battery drains fast anyway, compared to earlier. Sometimes it is a certain app that works in the background, sometimes it is another app. My assumption is that the OS is not shutting down unused apps as much or good as other vendors do and what was done previously. I did turn off background usage for most apps, but that only helps marginally.
Other than that the experience is quite stable.
Back in NL. No unexpected reboots anymore.

Since 3.1.1 App Lounge is not working properly anymore. The update tab is endlessly loading but doesn“t show any apps. I could however search for my installed apps and update each individual app (bothersome but it worked). This happened regardless if I logged in anonymously or with my Google account. After trying all suggestions on this forum and gitlab I did not get it to work normal again.
I decided to wait for 3.14 and hoped it would be fixed. But now it is even worse. I cannot login to my Google account anymore (so no updates for my paid apps). The anonymous account keeps saying that it has to update the session. I cannot install apps anymore but now the update tab says that all apps are updated.
Since 3.1.4. Garmin Connect does not work anymore, same problem as @p_jabardy except that I do not receive notifications anymore. I cannot try to reinstall the Garmin app since App Lounge is behaving so erratically.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You are done for then ⦠but were you sure to
Try later ??
Once you have one ārefuseā is better not to try for say 12 hours.
However Fairphone on a14 and above may have this
Thanks for your response aibd,
Indeed I tried later. I read your posts in the other threads and cleaned cache and storage and waited for two days before trying again. I deleted my devices from my Google account and tried again. I tried with my phone plugged and unplugged as suggested. I have been doing this many times since I had 3.1.1 but to no avail. After upgrading to 3.1.4 I started trying all over again. I am at a loss here and I think I need to do a factory reset and really make a fresh start. Just have to make time to do that and make backups.
Regards.
I donāt think it will help.
That Gitlab issue has silently gone āConfidentialā (implies perhaps a non redacted log was received). May be just a Google resistance to something about the āmachine fingerprintā. There is always https://f-droid.org/ and Aurora Store from there.
@Veerbol , @iamvuk , @AgentOrange96 , @p4tr1ck on the FP6 reboot issue, since we have been unable to reproduce the reboots issue on our end we would need some logs from your side
ā¦From the development teamā¦
We need two logs.
Log 1: Boot Sequence Log
The goal here is to capture the entire boot process, from the very start until the device is fully ready.
Trigger the Boot: Manually reboot the phone. Start the log as soon as the Fairphone splash logo is shown
adb logcat -b all > boot_log.txt
Stop the Log: Wait until you see the homescreen and the device is fully settled.
Log 2: Continuous Log until Issue Occurs
The goal here is to capture a long-running log that will catch the moment the issue happens.
Trigger the Boot: Manually reboot the phone. Start the log as soon as the Fairphone splash logo is shown
adb logcat -b all > continuous_log.txt
Reproduce the Issue: Do not stop the log. Keep it running until the phone automatically reboots on itās own, ie. reproducing the issue mentioned
ā¦
you can attach the logs to the issue on gittab
Since I returned to the Netherlands from the USA, the problem hasnāt reoccurred. I canāt reproduce it here either.
Do you have any documentation on how to setup this adb thing?
Am I understanding correctly that I have to leave the ohone plugged in to a PC until the problem occurs?
Its difficult for me to do on my daily driver.
Is there a way to trigger the logging locally on the phone without a PC, for both or either of the logs you are asking for ?
Sorry for all those questions

Since upgrading to this version the phone keeps thinking it is charging, even when itās unplugged. I have Lawnchair installed, its At a glance widget also shows a charging icon, % and time until full, plugged or unplugged.
Oh, I forgot another issue. Bliss launcher crashes sometimes and before any click anywhere on the screen opens the browser, impossible to open anything else (and soon after it crashes).
Needed some additional clarifications regarding the FP6 rebooting issue.
We are working with Fairphone team to find a resolution for this issue. The teams have requested for this information.
- Could you also confirm the locations,
- The operators you are facing this issue with
- Was it while moving across cell towers or when staying at a single place
- Also did these reboots start after v3.1.1 or were you facing them earlier as well.

Smooth update but noticed a battery drain is much larger.
I first looked for any faulty app but at no avail, so even after deinstalling almost all apps I still experienced much shorter lifetime on single charge (went from about 30h of normal use to 10-12h, averaged over 8-10days of use)
I thus reinstalled from scratch the system and apps (including unlocking and then relocking the bootloader which I understand is wiping most of the data).
Still no improvement.
No app seems to be constantly draining the battery from the ad hoc menu, rather they take turn in appearing to be the oger. I tend to conclude from this that some underlying shared library is the problem, but am no expert.
Please try to clean the cache of all apps and reboot. This is reported to be one of the causes of battery drains after updates. There are several apps that you might use for this. I can recommend Cache Cleaner | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository
