I forget to check the problem with the multiple users in S7 “herolte” after the update, and it still exist, so my question remains, what’s the point of this update?
I see, thanks for clarifying. So, there are some updates, of microG, and browser, and other.
My criticism was that major bugs weren’t addressed, like multiple user’s problem, newer kernel, security updates. Which for me would be crucial for an 2 months update. Hopefully they will come with Android 13 for this device.
As I’ve said, I can be a testing guinea pig for S7 “herolte”, if devs wanting to take it to the next level, just shoot me a private message. I have two S7’s lying down and doing nothing, I want to contribute.
I’m a power user, can test banking apps and other, can use adb commands, even hardware modifications if necessary for testing, and bug hunting.

I found a dirty workaround to reinstall Youtube through Aurora Store: in the settings of Aurora Store, there is a menu with this icon:
In French, the menu name is “Gestionnaire d’usurpation”, but I suspect it to be a bad translation.
Anyway, there is a list of devices, and your FP5 should be the default one, selected in the list. Select another one (I tested with a Google Pixel 9a). It will make you restart Aurora, and Youtube should be installable.
I’m not sure of what this setting does, so I would advise to change it back to FP5, just in case it might be harmful in the future.

USB tethering is not functionning anymore except with USB debug mode in developers mode (but the usb tethering via debug mode is not functionning with all softwares like video games)
Precision : It’s not working on my computer which is running latest version of Windows 10 but it’s working with a laptop on Windows 11.
It looks like I’m having problems with this too: the creation process was hanging and I had to stop it by restarting the system. After that, however, a new user was visible. Unfortunately, I can’t tell if it was set up correctly, because after this experience, I didn’t dare to test it further for fear of bricking my phone…
I don’t think that it will brick it, because restart always helps to switch to default user. So, you can confirm that it’s not only my two S7 that had problem right?
Sometimes I had to restart it twice, because after first restart it didn’t recognize my SD card, and after restart, everything was normal.
In my phone “herolte” on two phones, the situation is similar. I can enable the option for multiple users, and then create a new one, but on the configuration of the new user the phone freezes, rendering it unusable. Multiple users is also a privacy feature, so that’s why I was surprised this bug weren’t addressed.
