Did you try to link your phone via USB with another electronic device than your W10 PC?
Just to check if the problem is really from the phone…
The battery consumption of my FP4 is also much higher than before. In my case microG: 39% (see gitlab).
I reinstalled /e/ and now I do have mobile internet again.thanks for the effort

Orange France SIM card: yes.
Therefore, it is not possible to send and receive text messages from the eSIM.

I think since the update from v3.2 to v3.3, I get an Android notification Account update for … A new login service for a better experience. I could not login (it hangs after entering my password or after the TOTP code), even though all this works on https://murena.io/.
There is one more mention of “account update” in this thread.
I would already be happy if I can get rid of the persistent info thingy / pull down at the top of my screen.
The device is a Samsung Galaxy S10.

The /e/drive is no longer synchronizing. It was working great until January 1st. Now when I create a file on my phone in the Documents folder even after many hours, I still don’t see it in my murena cloud.
Tried rebooting, reauthenticating. Nothing does it. The WebDAV items (calendar, contacts etc are working good). It’s only files and pictures that are not sync’ing. It stopped all the sudden, no config change.

The USB connection worked with version 3.1.4, but with version 3.2 the problem arose…
You could try to start your PC with a live USB Linux distribution and see if the smartphone is detected or not …

The widget view is sometimes in two columns and sporadically switches back to one column.
The Calengoo widget often has no content.
It would be nice if the old Bluetooth switch in the shortcuts (turn on with one click) were back. Now there are many more clicks.
Sometimes the Wi-Fi menu opens when you briefly press the Wi-Fi shortcut.
What is the ntfy app needed for? It is constantly active and definitely uses battery power. Or how can I use it?
Advanced privacy: permanent VPN has not been possible since 3.1. Or even before that.
On the Fairphone 5 of my partner the annoying issues which appeared in e/OS/ 3.2-a15 do still exist in e/OS/ 3.3-a15 (both based on Android 15):

My own Fairphone 5 still runs e/OS/ 3.1.4-t (based on Android 13) without those issues.
Seems I could fix it by opening the system settings and tap “ntfy” in the search bar. Open ntfy, then tap “Notifications” / “show unused categories” and activate “Abo Services” (was inactive by default). Since then, I can receive instant notifications by all apps using unified push (Molly, Tusky, Foss Warn).
Thank you for testing that and telling us about it. I did eventually also have Molly problems but not with Mercurygram, seems odd to me. Anyhow, I changed the notification option and will try tonight with my spare testing phone how Molly behaves.
