NOT Rooted
Hi there,
I currently have an issue with accessing the Home/App list of my different profiles. I got 2 other profiles, with one containing banking apps. Pre update i had no issues, just a high loading time after entering my PIN.
In the current version, after switching and entering my PIN, pressing enter… the screen goes “blank” or rather the background of the PIN prompt is still there but the visual buttons are gone. I can still hear the button sounds when typing in the Numpad area, other than that i can only lock the screen and switch back to my main profile, which does not have that issue thankfully.
I am genuinely panicking with my FP4 (built-in e/os murena, not rooted). Since the last update, the device has begun behaving strangely, i.e., the screen lock would not become active again. I am currently locked out of my phone. If I reboot, still get the black screen with no possibility to activate it. Sometimes it randomly reboots on the login screen but it has not done that for hours now after countless attempts at rebooting in every way. Totally lost about what to do about it!
@Manoj

Issue: Phone reboots with no obvious trigger. Today(07/01/2025) it did so 6 times within 20 minutes.
I am located in Europe, bought the phone with e/OS preinstalled directly from the Fairphone store. No customization done to the image, and only updating via phone system.
A workaround i just found was to try to access the settings in the lock screen. The PIN prompt there works and after accessing the setting you can tab to home and access the apps
I have a Google Pixel 5 with /e/OS official version Redfin. After the last update version 3.3, I have a continuos push notification like the one attached: do you have suggestions how to solve?
Thanks
Paolo
Have you tried to restart your phone after changing the setting?
I’ve checked it yesterday to be sure, that it wasn’t just coincidence. First I deactivated the abo services and restarted the phone. After this, there were no more notifications for the respective apps. Then I reactivated the abo services and restarted the phone again. This made notifications work again.
I upgraded to /e/OS 3.3 two weeks ago. /e/OS version is 3.3-a14-20251210556409-official-FP4 (FP4, Android 14, not rooted). Since that I have trouble with my phone:
The eSIM card seem to turn off/stop working randomly. Can be fixed by a restart. The main problem is that there are no visual signs for that. People who call me say, that they have a ringing noise. I get no information about a call when that happens. I just realize it, when I try to call someone: Everything looks normal, but there is no ringing noise and after a while the attampt is canceled by the phone.
Does anyone realized similar problems with a FP4? Is there a known solution for that?
Ah yea! I had seen that forum post, and the one it got merged into(that only discusses US/Canada specific issues.. while the first thread was mostly Europe). Unfortunately there isn’t exactly a fix yet so I was hoping to get some attention on this issue on the Feedback thread.
On my Fairphone 6 with /e/ Os since some days microG stops repeatedly with the message (in Dutch) “microGdiensten stopt steeds”. This is essentially the same message as Polis79 reported earlier. As a result (I think) Microsoft app Outlook for my mail en calander doesn’t work. Mst annoying, of course.
There seems to be no relevant response on this issue yet? Can someone help with this issue?

There is an issue this time. Mobile internet is not working, that is: dns is not working at all with mobile internet. The same physical sim with the same settings does work perfectly on a motorola G(9)play, version e-3.3-a14-20251214557451-community-guamp.
Also, the time before the PIN for the simcard is accepted is much much longer (at least double) when mobile internet is set to on in the setting for the phone.
The issue may have existed much longer, since I have not used mobile internet data on this phone since at least March 2025 (2.9-s)
