Yes! My S9+ has been upgraded to an A15 chip! And it’s a huge improvement. I still have a few apps to reinstall. Thanks for the necessary cleanup.

Except the GPS and maps aren’t working ..

don’t wait for it, they didn’t even upgrade the official devices on A12 yet, I keep asking but nothing happens…

All fine on Pixel 5 redfin (no root) after update from 3.7-t to 4.0-t

Still EOL on A13 with no change in sight, though. Official device, bought 2 years ago…

The issue Julien refers to :right_arrow: Bluetooth audio input (microphone) does not work (#9428) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab In short: When using a bluetooth device (earphones or headphones) for phone calls (or the sound recorder app) on the FP3, my audio input (read: my voice) from the headphone microphone is not transmitted to the caller. The caller’s voice is clearly audible in my headphones.

EDITED to reflect that I am not 100% now if audio input is missing altogether or picked up only by the FP3 microphone.

I just tried a phone call in the car and it works perfectly. It works as well for my “car remote key access” (using phone to unlock the car via Bluetooth). I haven’t tried with other devices.

The caller in my case seemed to have heard me “from the car” rather than “from the phone”

Update :
1)stock Mail APP keeps on crashing when ‘sync ON’ :man_shrugging:
2) stock filemanager APP doesn’t keep it’s sorting setting once the APP has been closed.

I answer to myself :

In fact we have to wait for the GPS to have at least one satellite to exchange with.

After some very long minutes, I have 2 satellites and I can access maps.

Download and installation went very fast and smooth.

I have one real issue and one small problem:

On call (phonecall or videocall) when the focus changes to another App or I minimize the videocall, I can not hear the call any more. They can hear me but I have to change the volume via the volume button to hear again. This happens with earphones but also with phone speaker.

The browser app always opens with new tab after being unused for some time. Only then I can go to tab list and change to the tab I used before. If I don’t close the new tab, I will have tens of new tabs after some time. How can I change that behavior?

Sometimes I get message, that there is a problem with my morena account. If I click on it and close the window again it disappears.

Dear @Manoj ,
one question if I may, and sorry if I should have missed the underlying reason.
The FP6 /e/OS is still A15 based, why is that?
In the weekly updates it’s listed like this for a couple of weeks, and I would have thought / expected 4.0 to land with A16?
FP6 - FP6 - A15 → A16
(All devices we sell in our shop, with official builds are priority candidates for OTA OS upgrade to A16)

And don’t get me wrong, fully appreciate all the work the team is doing!
So, just want to understand the background.

And, if I still may add a bonus question, a 2nd one? :smile:
Does it mean FP6 users need to wait for V4.x? for A16?
