Firefox within Shelter: loopin full screen video and lock screen - need to switch off

Dear all
I am an happy user of /e/OS 3.5 on a google pixel tablet and I installed shelter as further privacy sand boxing when using apps and visiting some sites

With Firefox I have a strange video behavior when visiting twitter, facebook web pages.
I can see correctly a video while in the web page but when I go full screen it starts cycling from black video with audio ongoing to lock screen every.
The only way to stop this is to switch off the tablet (sometimes switches off itself)

This does not happen with /e/OS native browser running in shelter too.
As side info BTW: netflix and sky run well full screen within shelter.

I suspect some conflicts between Firefox and shelter when going full screen video, any clue ?

Thanks in advance

Greetings!

Since Android 14 there seems to be an issue related to some apps installed soley in the work profile (managed by Shelter). I don’t know which Android serves as base for /e/os 3.5 on your device but maybe it’s the same issue.

A while back a workaround has been mentioned here: Feedback for v2.6.3 - #214 by rikshaw

In short: Clone the malfunctioning app to your main profile (and never use it/grant any special permissions).

Cheers!
