FP3 - Issue with alarm when phone off

Hello everyone,

I have noticed an odd behaviour regarding the alarm. As you know, if the phone is off and there is an upcoming alarm, /e/OS turns the phone back on in time for it to ring. This is an excellent function that allows to save energy and is probably healthier than having a phone on by your head for the entire night.

However, I have noticed that if the phone is connected to a charger, this function does not work. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have this same problem but with fairphone 6. The alarm seems to only work when phone is turned on but not when it’s off.

I haven’t tried whilst its charging as I don’t like to leave my phone charging whilst I sleep.

For now im using my old phone as temporary alarm
