FP4 e 1.6 fingerprint broken

Upgraded fairphone 4 from e 1.5 to 1.6-s-20221129238946-stable-FP4 and fingerprint unlock stopped working. Also setting it off or on in settings has no effect. Also unable to delete or add fingerprints in the settings. any advice?

Hi @annaoo and welcome to the forum.
If you search I think you will find the same issue and the replies. If I remeber what I did, I clear all fingerprint stored and set them again.

Feedback for v1.5

Updated to android 12 (“S”) today on my FP4. After reboot fingerprint sensor did not work (I was not able to add a new fingerprint, deleting the old one did also not work, everything was greyed out). Thank you for pointing to that. It does not appear anyone responded to the specific post you linked to. As that poster mentioned, deleting fingerprint and re adding, as you suggested, did not work. Thanks for the link anyway. Im happy to know it is not just me and others are also having this problem to
