I created an online Mureno account for my FP5. I would like to have only my contacts and my notes from my phone backed up to cloud. After examining the Mureno cloud settings I have yet to find a way to add or remove apps, etc. Is it even possible?

Settings > Accounts > [YOUR account] lets you customize (on your phone) what gets synched with the cloud.
Yep, that’s to be set up on the phone itself individually by choosing which aspects are automatically synced, as @urs_lesse mentioned.
The Murena account seems to just offer all sorts of syncing, while the devices decide which data actually gets synced.
