Got a fresh factory Fairphone 5, and tried the web installer on it last week.
Everything went fine until step 22/24 where the installer wouldn’t continue – can’t remember the exact error message. I guess it’s related to locking back the bootloader.
I’ve seen here other people having a hard time in manual install also on finalizing everything.
I now have a working e/OS FP5 on build 2.8-t-20250219470165-official (Android 13), which I believe is that last build as of today, but with an unlocked bootloader.
My question is: is it safe to roll back to the official Fairphone OS manually or will I encounter problems and should wait for the next build to install?
