FP6: After every reboot, mobile data gets switched off

Hello

I currently have two SIM cards in use. One physical “private” card and one eSIM for “work”. The work number has unlimited national data but no international data. The private number has limited data for both national and international use.
I have therefore set the work number for data with automatic switching to better coverage (e.g. when I go abroad). This works fine.

However, since I started using the new Fairphone 6, I have had the problem that after every reboot, my mobile data is deactivated and I have to reactivate it. It took me a while to figure this out.

After restarting, the message “Discover Trust” appears.

When I press “Internet” from the top menu, I am only offered ‘Private’ with the addition “no automatic connection via mobile data” and “Wi-Fi” as well as the Wi-Fi networks. If I then switch on “Private,” the default for mobile data is set to “Private” and I have to keep changing it back.

Is this a problem when using eSIM? How can I set it so that the work number is always used for data, even after a restart, and only switches to “private” when mobile data is unavailable (abroad) and only for as long as necessary?

BTW: With eSIM, there is no PIN query on the provider side (it is not set). Is that OK or should it be turned on anyway?

my eOS is version 3.1.2.

Thanks and best regards

Did really no one witness this behaviour since now?
