Does someone have an idea why a phone can receive SMS, but not send them?
I’ve read some threads in this community site and on other ones, tried some stuff, but no solving & no clue. When trying to send a SMS, my phone was logged into O2 net with the following set-up:
FP6, /e/ OS 3.2-a15-20251022539003-official-FP6, Android 15, Phone 0 SIM from Salt mobile (CH), Phone 1 eSIM from O2 (GER). Standard message app. All permission granted for the messages app; primary SIM for SMS is eSIM from O2; mobile Data via cellular network is on; switch SIM automatically is on. Both data minimization mode on /off; App-Trackers blocked; Location off (not masked); IP address not hidden.
The apps cache has been cleared; I tried different numbers to send; started phone again; checked Other questions .
I have dialed *#*#4636#*#* from the phone dial pad, then taped on ‘Phone Information’, scrolled down to the bottom of the screen to locate SMSC. I did hit refresh and the correct number shows up for both phones/SIMS. SMSC update error by klick on Update Button for phone 0, but after refresh the correct number shows up again.
Which setting, may be not directly related to the app, might have that impact on sending SMS?
