On a new Murena Fairphone6, OS v3.4/official, previously purchased paid apps from Google Play Store (e.g. OsmAnd+) fail license checks, and do not ‘restore purchases’.
All such apps appear as currently ‘unpurchased’.
This has been a very long-standing issue.
From Feb 2021, here in forums, closed/unresolved (requires root)
Paid apps from Google Play Store (including in app purchases / license checks)

and at MicroG, still open but last commented Oct 2024,
Support license checking and in-app purchases without the Google Play Store #2495

Is there a non-root fix available for this – existing or actively being worked on?
there’s a nested (and experimental marked) billing API option for license requests in microg. That one is active, and you associated the google-account (checklist question) ?
hi.
i’ve tried both with, and without, it activated.
it’s currently active, and the correct (only) google acct is associated.
i’ve noticed a couple of apps DO manage to get the license/subscription info – and correctly restore my registrations.
most others do not.
i suspect “things” are done differently by different apps :-/
ALL of the ‘affected’, apps on the FP6 that are non-cooperating, DO work just fine on non-FP6+e/OS phones (e.g., Samsungs with, and without custom ROMs)
_something_ is uniquely a problem here. it seems likely it’s MicroG-related …
