FP6 stuck on fastboot mode - in need of help

Dear all.

I just installed /e/OS on my new FP6 via the web-installer tool, and I think I’m screwed.

The installation process was without errors, I followed the steps very carefully, and at the last step the phone rebooted, I saw the Murena text, but then I ended up in the fastboot mode in an endless loop. So /e/os refuses to boot. I very briefly see the Android/Fairphone logo before fastboot mode opens. It shows Device state: “unlocked”.

I tried the web-installer again, but now it can’t find and connect to my phone anymore.

So now I have no idea on what to do, I’m not an expert at all, and never done this before in my life. Is my new phone dead? Can It be saved?

I really hope someone are able to help me out.

Cheers from Martin (Denmark)

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online servicesphone

Your phone is not bricked but study of recent threads with hashtag eosinstaller will show this not uncommon and perhaps will give insight to the CLI manual install method. Fastboot mode is the path to a solution. This reply Failed web installer, now stuck in boot loop - #2 by Manoj from this morning would equally apply to you.
