I manually upgraded to e-4.1.1-a16-20260717651034-official-FP6 by using the local update option.
Now it seems App Lounge is failing to install app updates. The bar stays at 0%. I already tried clearing cache and logging in again. I’m using the anonymous login. Any one else has the same issue?
EDIT: it also fails to install new apps in the same way. Aurora store has no issue.
EDIT2: after a long while, it does eventually install
I once noticed that App Lounge is staying at 0% when I run a VPN. Switching off the VPN resolved the problem.
Hi, all!
First message on this forum.
After being mildly frustrated by the lack of updates (even security-related), I found this thread, and I thought that I got lucky that yesterday the 4.1.1 upgrade (to Android 16) was spontaneously available, and installed without any issues.
I no longer can use the phone. The internet simply doesn’t work on Wi-Fi, but everything works well using an Ethernet cable adapter.
I looked for a way to wipe the cache partition, but it’s not available in the bootloader/fastboot options. I cleared the cache with Cache Cleaner (F-Droid), but to no avail.
Anyone else having this problem, or has this been discussed anywhere in the Forum already?
Thanks!
A full Power down and restart can often be a fix. As

I restarted before and did not work! Nut today i tryed again and looks like everything works again!
I second @aibd’s suggestion of a real phone shutdown (no simple reboot), then restart.
Else … there’s a Wi-Fi reset (coupled with Bluetooth in Android 15, don’t know about 16) in Settings - System - Reset options.
Thank you, @aibd and @AnotherElk for your messages (shout out to NLDarkcloud, can’t mention a third person as a new member).
Shutting down completely for the nth time did not work as a fix.
AnotherElk, your suggestion is still available in Android 16, and it also did not do anything, apart from deleting all saved networks and associated passwords (not a problem for me, and it was worth the shot).
But, it gave me the idea to simply use another router or Wi-Fi, and suddenly the phone started accessing the internet as it was before. Other devices are still connected to the “rejected” Wi-Fi and work without any problem. This same phone was working until yesterday, so it is some sort of mismatched configuration.
For a bit more depth, here’s what worked using the “problematic” network:
Browsing a few webpages (didn’t do many tests) and Google (Youtube, specifically via an alternative app).
What did not work:
Most other apps, including the native Mail, messenger apps, banking, etc.
I will now see the networking workaround I will have to do in order to bypass this nuisance.
I hope my description may be useful to anyone else in the same situation.
Thanks again!
PS: as suggested by aibd, next time I will post in that mile-long thread specifically asking for version-specific bugs or difficulties.
If you can get into the router settings perhaps you can get the router to forget the phone.
It is possible that something that changed in the upgrade caused the router to not recognise the “changed phone”.
You are probably right, but I simply formatted it (the router). Problem solved.
Thanks again!
