Hi, I’ve just bought a refurbished OnPlus Nord AC2003 and I was wondering if there’s some specific check to perform before attempting to install eos. The actual SW isAC2003_11_F. 24on Android 12. Thank you, Matteo
Be aware that it may take a long time before an OTA - upgrade will be available for the A14 based official version. Since most devices were sold with A12 on it.
Maybe a good idea to follow this thread for news on the 3.7.2 update:
I guess ideally you would choose early which of the Different Build Types you would opt for. If you change your mind later, realistically you would fresh install from the other build channel with Format data.
Done with 3.1.1 Official (3.7.2 ETA has been moved to next week)! A couple of infos missing in the tutorial: OnePlus Nord Avicii, by default, sets the usb connection to “charge mode” only, for this reason it’s necessary to force MTP transfer to have the phone detected. Moreover it’s better to use GIT bash installed version and not the portable one, since with portable there is no “open here” command on right click (clearly on windows). Now one last question: should I relock the bootloader? Or is it everything already set for future OTA? Thank you, Matteo.
I missed the information. Frankly speaking sometimes the news about version upgrade are a bit confusing. So what should I do? Reflash with A12 to wait for official OTA to A16?
If there is no safety update on A14 since last summer and considering that the phone is for my wife, OTA updates are a must and recent security patches too. Am I going to encounter issues rolling back to A12?
Don’t know if you already made a move but I’ve updated my A14 install to A16 using sideload without issues; Off course erasing the data but I had no Wifi-issues like other users.
Since you are running A14 already, I think it won’t infect you as well..
I have the 3.7 image still on my laptop so I can share it with you. Without any waranty, of course.
Version 3.7.3-a16 is now available for download.
It is possible to install this one over 3.1.1-a14 without triggering a factory reset if you download the correct non-IMG zip-file (just take the same download link only strip the 'IMG-'part) and sideload it from recovery.
