Functionalities not found about the forum

Hello,
I am new here and I can’t find two functionalities I like to use in a forum.

  • Where can I put a tag “All messages read” for all categories ?
  • Where can I ask “List all messages not read” from each category ?

Press the e symbol top left of screen to go to forum home. Then: New then Dismiss New (this is for new messages since you last read)

Then go to Unread and visit each topic with a blue dot in each of the categories.

Thank you Jets but I didn’t get it :frowning_face:
OK for the “e” and “New” in the top bar menu. But then it seems I get the news topics, not the topics where is a new message. After that, I can’t find “Unread” anywhere :disappointed:
What did I do wrong ?

It may depend on the view one starts from. From Community Latest that is https://community.e.foundation/latest I expect to see all Unread as this

So if you open Unread you have a Dismiss … alongside + New Topic

… but Categories and Tags here are effectively All.

From community latest with the right URL you gave above, I don’t have “Unread” but “News” instead, but it seems doing the job and I am happy with this solution.
Nevertheless, I still don’t understand what Jets was speaking about when he said “Then go to Unread and visit each topic with a blue dot” ?

I wonder if at some point you saw the Dismiss … button then ticked “Never tell me again about these threads” (or similar wording). ?

When you see “News” I am thinking you have preselected that Category. Do you see as my image all Categories and Tags are displayed as open field ?

Alternatively at the bottom of posts is Tracking is this set to Muted, perhaps ?

No, it is not.
More over, When clicking on “e”, then “New” I don’t get all the new messages, for example, your very message wasn’t in the list.

My message would not count as New.

This is your thread so I expect the topic marked “Tracked” for you, once you logged in my message would be marked Unread.

New is as a “New topic”, a thread which did not exist when you last logged out.
