Galaxy S9+. after OS update ver.2.4 usb port stopped working

Hello, first post.
(This phone was purchased from the e foundation for the USA market.)
As the title says after updating to OS version 2.4 the usb-c port has stopped working. It will not charge or transfer data. begun with the restart after downloading and installing the update. I just installed the newest version 2.5 hoping that would correct the issue but it did not.

I use a Ugreen usb-c 9 in 1 multi-function adapter or (hub) for Ethernet connection to the web as well as an outboard DAC for audio via USB-a. I thought it may have changed something related to the hub but as it will not charge via the port that does not seem likely. No other changes have been made other than OS update.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hello, welcome on this forum !

A usb port not charging is likely faulty on a hardware lever rather than on a software level.

Did you try reporting to the murena helpdesk ?

Thanks for the welcome and reply Didou.
I would ordinarily think so too however it has not been a problem before and started with the restart after OS 2.4 update. It’s not just not charging, it will not transfer or receive data either. It’s just dead. It’s like the update killed it.

I will try reporting it to Murena help desk. Thanks for that idea.

You’re welcome.

I hope you’ll find a solution.

I have just asked at the Help Desk.

I will report back when I have something.

Thanks again!
