Galaxy s9 crashes when trying to boot, lands in recovery screen

Hi there, I’ve been using my galaxy s9 with /e/OS for years without big problems, but now this:

I left it on overnight, but this morning it was off (I don’t think the battery ran out because I can turn it on again, even though I can’t see the charge status)
When trying to boot, first everything is normal, I see the /e/ logo with the jumping dot etc, I enter my lock pattern. But when I get to the SIM card PIN, or shortly after that when I’m quick, the phone crashes. For a moment before it crashes I even see a notification that my alarm couldn’t go off this morning.
Recovery screen (version 2.5) appears, which tells me to try again (it crashes every time), apply an update, do a factory reset or go to ‘advanced’.

If this is fixable without a factory reset, help would be much appreciated.

My /e/OS version: Whatever was the newest one for my model yesterday.

Thanks

Was hast du für eine Android Version die 2.5t Community oder 2.5s stable?

s. But I don’t need help anymore. I reset the phone to factory settings and everything works again. My best guess is that the internal storage was completely full, even though I could have sworn there must have been a few free GB.
Thanks for your answer, though.
