Gigaset GS6 and GS6 Pro as basis for Volla Phone Plinius

I couldn’t help but notice that Volla Plinius Phone is nothing but a revamped Gigaset GS6/GS6Pro, which in my opinion is one of the best phones out there due to:

  1. Native support for Wireless Charging
  2. An outstanding 5300 mAH battery
  3. 120 hz refresh rate display
  4. Swappable battery
  5. Made in Europe
  6. Rugged phone

I’m officially asking to port /e/OS to Gigaset GS6

They say it is rugged, Volla makes even more of a deal about it’s ruggedness but without any details.

The FP6 has a military drop test and the latest Gorilla glass. In addition to that if you do damage the camera or screen you can replace them easily.

I do like the look of the GS6 but I’m not convinced it is that tough and it would be hard to get parts and replace them.

Yes, they are selling them now but they are out of stock.

They are much cheaper than the Volla Plinius which is the same thing. Also much cheaper than the standard GS6 is on Amazon.

I’m trying to decide between it and the FP6. Looks, price, screen to body ratio, and wireless charging are in its favour.

It is strange that one of their first phones was a Gigaset and they didn’t do any for years and have done again now.

I wonder why they never got the GX4 or GX6. That would be worth trying I think.
