A friend gave me the hint that there is a new Gigaset model. Its parameters and its features (e.g. replaceable battery!) make this an interesting and affordable phone in my point of view.
With /e/ OS available for this hardware, I would think about replacing my FP3 by it (after 5,5 years surviving with hardware nuisances like the dull display and bad camera).
We are looking into the newest Gigaset models. We will check if the /e/OS code can be built for the newer Gigaset models. If there is any positive development on this I shall update on this forum. It usually takes a couple of months to get the build in a working condition. So, no ETAs for now.
