Hello,
today I installed /e/os (e-0.22-q-20220228166118-dev-FP2) in my old fairphone2. But in OSMAnd, in MagicEarth my position will not be found. The App Satstat tells me, that there are no satellites.
How to solve the problem?
I’m running the same build on my Fairphone 2 … location works fine for me.
For testing, make sure you have a large patch of visible sky available to the phone, ideally outside instead of indoors. Keep in mind that GPS by itself could take a while to get a location fix.
You could turn off the phone (real power down, not just a reboot) and turn it on again and see whether that helps.
You could check in Settings - Location whether location is enabled, and which Apps have (or don’t have) permission.
You could also check Settings - System - Advanced - MicroG for anything location related, e.g. Self-Check and Location modules.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I was probably too impatient. In the meantime, SatStat shows some satellites, and the position determination now works as well.
