High mobile data usage /e/Storage

Maybe you can try this:

Setting → Account → search for your murena.io account (the one with your email adress)–> click on account synchronization → uncheck “Images and videos”.

As @eOSPC92 said you’d better to unsync some object you don’t want to sync like photo maybe ?

The reason is typically that you have cloud synchronization on (this is the default for every type of data) and then, after you configured your phone you start using it by filling it with older data, taking pictures, taking videos, taking voice recordings.

Yes, this is one of the most ignored serious problems of the /e/ eco system, because it scares the user typically in the first days with his or her new phone, and it has been there since /e/ has started. The default space in the cloud is 1 GB. But today every user has far more than 1 GB of data, my music files alone have 51 GB. Another reason is the resolution of modern cameras. So nearly everyone gets this problem sooner or later (this means: very soon). And then, when you see it, it’s too late, you have the mess, everything already happend and you must stop it and clean up.

This all is really not good at all. And this all could easily be fixed by switching the defaults off: don’t synchronize anything by default. Another important thing would be to check also the free space in the could before a synchronization starts and I don’t mean file by file but rather job by job. In my case it started indeed to pump up my music files but this nobrainer could have known that it will never succeed with this.

Because Google and Apple have a could that works from the first moment on. This is the reason. And because Google and Apple users don’t think about any mobile data.
