Hi,
I’m using a fairphone 3 with /e/ preinstalled. I tried to set up this device as a hotspot. Allow clients to use VPN is activated but USB-Tethering is greyed out and on the overview panel for network and internet it shows “Hotspot and Tethering” is switched off.
How can I activate this function?

Hello,
thank you for your purchase
Could you make sure than Airplane mode is deactivated and cellular data is enabled please?
If it doesn’t work, could you provide screenshots of:
Settings > Network & internet
Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering
Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi hotspot

Hi, thank you for the fast reply.
The airplane mode is deactivated and I can send and receive data via mobile provider.
Herr are the requested Screenshots. But I only could find two oft the three requested:
I think you didn’t notice that “WLAN-Hotspot” is clickable. That’s where you will be able to enable and configure your hotspot.
