Hotspot not working after latest update

Hi,
Immediately, after the latest update my Fairphone 3 hotspot does not show up on my laptop.

So far I have tried:

  1. restarting the phone
  2. rebooting from the recovery mode
  3. Switching to 5.0 Ghz and back to 2.4 GHz
  4. Disabling and re-enabling tethering hardware acceleration in the developer settings
  5. Resetting mobile, Bluetooth and WiFi
  6. Adding “DUN” to APN type
  7. Running “settings put global tether_fun_required 0” in the adb shell

Please help me to solve this issue or report it so it gets fixed with the next update.

This issue has already been reported here: https://gitlab.e.foundation/e/backlog/-/issues/1477

We now have to wait for a fix.
As a workaround, users that reported this issue said that the USB tethering is still working.
