I go into Contacts. I select a contact. I hit the pencil icon to edit. I hit the camera icon to change the image. Under “Change photo”, I select “Choose photo”. I select a photo from the gallery and hit the check mark. It displays a screen with a 3x3 grid which allows me to crop the photo. I drag the grid to the desired resolution. So far so good. But I see no way to save this change.
What do I do next? The only options that I can see are to swipe right from the left border - which takes me back to the previous screen without saving my changes - or to swipe up from the bottom border - which takes me out of the Contacts app without saving my changes. How do I save the image?
Edit: This site is not allowing me to make a followup post, so instead I put my response here: Well, that’s funny. On that first screen, I do not see SAVE. But when I click on that spot it saves the photo. Must be some kind of glitch on my side. Many thanks for your thorough reply.
