How long will Murena support Fairphone6?

Hello,

I think about buying one of Murena’s Fairphone 6 with eOS. But I wonder about the differences between the guarenteed support periods.

  • Murena says “We aim to support with at least 5 years of software updates and security patches”

  • Fairphone with googled Android says “ 8 years Software-Support”.

Why that mismatch? Why doesn’t Murena support as long as Fairphone does?
