How to change /e/ account username?

Hi /e/ team,

I’m strongly considering starting to use /e/ as my main email account and I’d to change the username to something less wacky and more formal. Please can you tell me how to do this? Or is it not possible?

If not possible then can I open a second account and link them somehow?

I think the only way will be deleting the old account an request a new one, or sm I wrong @Manoj

I agree that creating a new email ID is the best option. Create a new one and change the primary mail ID in your profile on the forum to this new one. After a couple of day have the old ID deleted.

Hmmm, maybe that is easiest, especially as I’m not really use my e.email address much.

Or can aliases be added to an account? I don’t mean subaddressing using + or - or any of the other methods, but a distinct alias. For example, Outlook.com allows 5 separate addresses to be registered to one account.
