How to re-enable:
Settings > Apps > Contacts storage > Device only
Daft, but there’s no ‘off’ radio button - I just touched it to see what would happen…:
Thanks for the tag @Manoj - note to self, must try harder next time…
do have you an /e/ account connected on the device ?
so system is able to propose a choice in complement to the device storage…
Yes, exactly what I would have expected - but no, no choice…
(Perhaps it’s time to file a bug.)
please have a look in → contact app → settings
Yes, the murena accounts/ address books are active there. It’s unclear if the ‘Device only’ radio button has any effect.
You can ofc check if your contacts are where expected from
Contacts app > 3 bar top left menu > Settings > Contacts to display. All ok.
Contacts app > 3 bar top left menu > Settings > Contacts to display > Customise ![]()
open each option > in each uncheck all the regular “account” views
Appears ?
Device ![]()
I would expect Contacts to be in control of Contacts storage.
Yes: contacts are displaying as I’d expect in the contacts app - I’m able to select and deselect in the contacts app - I’m able to see accounts in account manager.
Settings > Apps > Contacts storage > Device only
Appears cosmetic.
