How to set a default app?

Basic query indeed.
I can’t set which application should open a pdf document.
My Samsung S7 tries always to use Pdf Viewer that does’nt work anymore. I just want to direct pdf opening to SmartOffice running well.
How to ?

I’m not on Nougat so I don’t remember exactly where it is, but it’s in Settings > Applications.

If the default Pdf Viewer is broken, I suggest you to go into Settings > Applications > Pdf Viewer Plus > Storage > Clear data.

It will reset the app and I hope that it will :

  • Make it work again
    or
  • Open a pdf and I hope now it will ask you which app you want to use

Thanks for your help : clearing the storage data did enable again opening pdf files.
