How to turn off the ability to control device from lock screen?

Hey,

I just found out, that I can control my devces functions via the drop down menu on the lock screen.

I don’t really like, that anyone, could activate/deactivate every setting available on the dropdown!

Withing the setting (lock screen), there’s an option saying:
Use device controls without unlocking your phone

I thought, this would fit my case, but no matter if it’s turned on or off (even with restart after changing the setting) i can still change settings on the lock screen.

So, what is this options meant to do and how can i acutally turn off the drop down on the lock screen?

If you use the search facility within main Settings > Search “Use device controls” (is part of Lock screen).

If that is toggled off does the situation change?

Nope.

This is what I described in my initial post. The option was turned off from the beginning and I only turned it on, when i realised, that it does not, what i expected.

If this is, what it should acutally do, then it is not working.
