I was wondering If anyone has tried to use tap to pay of similar way to pay with revolut.
The NFC works just fine. I don’t know why but the post terminals don’t accept my payment. I bought the Fairphone gen.6 with Murena e/OS pre-installed.
The Curve app does not load after registration attempt. The google wallet app is useless. I cant load any cards.
Also what is your experience so far?

I bought a Fairphone 5 a couple of years ago and have installed e/OS.
So far, no problems with Curve, Lloyds or Nationwide apps.
Hope you find an answer soon.
I never knew Revolut has an NFC payment option, I havent double checked, but I am using it a lot and I am pretty sure, I’d notice it.
In system settings→ Apps → Default apps → there is “wallet app” and on my FP5 with /e/OS only Curve and mBank show as options, even though I have dozen of other banking apps (Nationwide, Starling, PayPal).
On a normal android you do not need a wallet app for revolut. I just pressed my phone against the device and the transaction was done. I only started to use gwallet once I had more cards. So now I can’t pay with my phone. Curve does not work and I do not see the “wallet app” option. Once I enter mu password the program just does not stop loading.
Curve also never showed up for me in the NFC options, which seems to be the main give away that contactless payment will fail.
The only NFC payment I got working was Klarna, which is an alternative but a lil bothersome one (it requires you to have money in their debit card, instead of drawing the money from an existant bank account, so I only use it as a “damn forgot my wallet at home”).
Curve shows up. I just can’t get it to work. I tried to register and it said It did not recognize my face. I did try to contact support but then it crashed. I just figured I could buy a smart watch and use GPay on the phone even dough it defeats the purpose of degoogleing.
