I’m unable to download the e/OS 3.3 update on my Fairphone 5. The download is extremely slow and keeps crashing. I finally managed to get it to 100% once, but an error message (verification failed) prevented the file from installing.

I’ve also noticed that app updates are infrequent. I have Aurora Store and App Lounge, but I was only able to update my bank authenticator app through the Huawei AppGallery. This is a significant problem.

because the screen must stay on (ajust screen lock settings)
or downloading from PC (the OTA file, not the IMG file) can be more efficient

Problem solved. I used the update .zip file link from my smartphone browser and the throughput was much higher, the file downloaded and installed without difficulty.
