Importing Google passwords .csv to Passwords

Hi, I am new with e/OS/ 4.2 using FP6 and coming from Google Android.

I am trying to import Google passwords .csv file into Passwords app. I have been able to open Passwords from Workspace and get to a point where I am choosing a file to import.

However I am unable to choose the correct file, clicking on it does not choose the file. I was able to click a photo from gallery, but not the .csv file.

I was also able to import the same .csv into the default e/OS/ internet browser.

Can anyone help me import the passwords?

Importing the dog into Passwords results in a error.

Thank you, I was able to do the import by logging to my Murena Workspace from my PC.

I wonder if the import should also work in the Workspace on my phone. I am considering making an issue report.

Maybe the file type filtering in your smartphone file app was activated, hence preventing you from selecting other files than pictures.

But you are right, the Murena worspace app is just a web-browser shortcut of the website which is not really designed to be accessed in a smartphone through a web-browser view.

In a smartphone, the cloud data is rather designed to be accessed through dedicated native apps like contacts, calendar etc :slight_smile:

I am sure they are aware that the Murena workspace web-browser shortcut is not ideal, but at the moment better than nothing
