Hello dear community,
I received my Fairphone 6 in August with the /e/os build. I hardly customized it, I didn’t root it or did anything that wasn’t recommended regarding the parameters.
For the past week I noticed a deep issue with my phone. Every app after the other is becoming obsolete and requests an update, that I can’t manage to install. When I click on the eventual update link, I get a white page that doesn’t lead me anywhere. I cannot install any other installer to bypass the issue either.
Now when I open the default update software (App Lounge), I am disconnected and can’t get it to connect in any way :
-
If I try to connect with Google services, I get a error page saying “net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED”;
-
If I connect anonymously, the pages of the app seem to be loading indefinitely;
-
If I select only the PWA and open sources apps, I get a prompt saying “An error occurred while loading the application. This may be due to an absence of feedback from the server, or another server error” (rough translation);
-
It is of course impossible to update the App Lounge itself.
-
Any attempt to download an update from the web takes me to a white page that doesn’t load.
I notice that when I am trying to download an update for any app or when I open App Lounge, I get a symbol appearing on the system tray at the top of the screen that seems to be linked to the firewall (crossed Earth symbol), however I can’t reach the parameters for the firewall and don’t remember changing any related parameter.
My phone is slowly becoming a brick as more and more app are becoming obsolete by the day. I can’t find any similar issue on this forum or on the /e/os help forum, could a charitable soul help me with this issue ?
Thanks in advance,
T. Evrard
