Impossible to use WhatsApp on my new Fairphone 6 /e/os Murena Phone

New /e/os and Fairphone 6 user here. I installed the latest OS version (4.0) and can run WhatsApp on it with no issues. Downloaded from the App Lounge. I wonder what is causing the hiccup with some but not others! Maybe a setting somewhere? Or a bootloader being locked/unlocked? Mine is currently unlocked for what it’s worth.

I had the same issue too for a fresh install on a FP6. I made multiple installation/desinstallation in vain.

I have made WA work by declaring my FP6 it as a second device from my WA account.

I was wondering, if disconnecting my old phone from WA (see inside WA menu) would solve the issue and let WA install on FP6 as main account.
