It’s the first time I get so many ads and trackers blocked in about 18 hours! Anybody experiencing this too?

This might be due to a specific app or service continuously retrying to load an ad or tracker.
Try setting TrackerControl as your VPN, and then you can inspect the logs to see which app is causing this.
Note that TrackerControl takes up the VPN slot but doesn’t actually connect to a different network, so replacing your VPN with it may expose your IP address. If you really want to make sure your home IP isn’t leaked, use it while you’re connected to public Wi-Fi.
