In the Settings > Advanced Privacy > Trackers wall of shame I recently noticed that Malwarebytes has over 25,000 leak attempts detected so far this year. The next highest is my banking app with 72.
Is there a reason MWB has so many leak attempts? Most appear to be through Amplitude, which looks like an analytics company. Does MWB try to share information to keep its databases up to date (or something)? I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, given that they’re in the business of keeping our devices safe, but this seems out of control.
