Install non-free version of typewise without Google Play Store?

Hi there.

I have installed the free version of typewise on my Fairphone3 with e/os. I got it via Aurora-Store with anonymous login.

Now I want to install the payed version of typewise, but it doesn’t work in anonymous Aurora of course. I think i have to install Google Play Store, but i don’t want to – for that i have e/os

So, is there a way to purchase typewise without using the Play Store?
Any hints?

Thanks
Peter

have you tried logging into aurora with your google accounts? and proceed, and after installing you can log out again.

i had an app that i purchased pro version of, i did the same: logging into Aurora with my google accounts where the purchase was made, installing the app, and then logging out and switching to anonymous mode again.

Oh, thank you for this tip. I tried this, but get this error (german system):

com.aurora.store.data.work.DownloadWorkerSd:

com.aurora.store.data.work.DownloadWorker.n(S
ourceFile:432)
at
com.aurora.store.data.work.DownloadWorker$g.t(
SourceFile:1)
at C5.a.n(SourceFile:9)
at Y5.M.run(SourceFile:115)

I tried this several times with same result. I updated /e/os to version 3.1.1 – same result.
When I try with anonymous login it says something like: no purchase with anonymous login. Of course
Perhaps it’s a problem with typewise? Or with Aurora? Or with my Google account?

Any further ideas?

Thank you
Peter

yeah… that’s not ideal.
so if i understood you correctly, you haven’t yet made the purchase and would like to do so now from aurora?
the difference from my case is that i already had made the purchase of the app outside the de googled system and when i switched to e/os and logged in with my google accounts, the app ( it was the Führerschein PRO app for driving lessons exam preparation. :D) was already there and linked to my google accounts, so i just downloaded it and it worked.

maybe making a purchase on a spare device with “real” google services installed, or on some emulator like Bluestacks. and making a purchase there will tie that purchase to your account so you don’t have to make the transaction from here, google servers are rejecting the purchase because they are detecting it’s not from an actual Playstore.
