Maybe an even dumber question: If I accidentally deleted the icon from the screen without uninstalling it (because you used Lawnchair as “home app” instead of the BlissLauncher, having now returned to BlissLauncher), but you can still see in App Lounge that the PWA is still installed… … how can i uninstall those PWA’s now? How do you do it then?

because I’m having this problem… No app icon, app not listed in the Applications list… cannot uninstall it the usual way.

PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) are just websites which are prepared to be used as PWAs. You can just open any such website in the browser, and the browser menu will have an Install or Put App to the home screen or similar entry for you to add the website as a PWA to your home screen.

In that sense, there is no App to uninstall, there’s just a link to a website.

AppLounge says that it’s installed and when I click on “Open” it opens in its own interface not in the browser.

Found the way to get rid of it!

In the launcher, I pressed on the icon app and then on “info” and found a menu (see image for a better explanation). I emptied the cache and the rest. AppLounge no longer says that the app is installed.

That’s the result of preparing a website to run as a PWA. It’s still the browser which opens it, but without the browser UI, which gives the user an App-like experience.

Doing this “uninstalls” all PWA apps though, not one particular app…
