Is there any method or fix for me to get in-app purchases working on e/OS on a Fairphone 5?
The process of paying in an app freezes. For example for Accubattery to donate, the google payment screen pops up, I can adjust my payment method and have added one. Then I can click “1-tap buy” and that popup goes away but the screen stays slightly grayer. As soon as I click the screen again that gray layover is gone and no payment has happened.
I am running e/OS 3.3. I have my Google account added with MicroG.
there’s an experimental Billing API to be enabled in the microg settings. If that helps or you had already enabled is another thing. See the explicit warning on the experimental feature
I had it already enabled. If I disable it gives me an error that it can’t even load the prices. So that setting does make a difference but wasn’t what kept mine from breaking. Thank you for the insight.
Just updated to 3.2 e/os and now cant use my Surfshark VPN. Seems something with Adv Privacy blocking VPN completely?? Any ideas what happened with latest upgrade to cause this rather big possible problem? Thx!
