Hi! I am an iPhone user who wants to convert to Fairphone. I can’t download e/OS to try it out on my current device. I want to ensure all of my vital apps transfer over. I have never used an Android phone and I know that the Play store is extensive, yet I need to make sure the transition is smooth since I am a medical student with no capacity for technical difficulties.
Hmm, I don’t think that there is a app migration at all. Not even from google… There is only google cloud data migration.
And to answer your question about trying then no you can’t. But the app content should be the same as as google play since app lounge is just a client app.
I think from your description this might be an unrealistic jump. For instance it seems to me we often hear from former iPhone users asking for help with “Android things”. I rather assume because iPhone tends to have one way only to accomplish a task while Android frequently has 3 ways.
Many users get experience with a “second phone” where it is easier to experiment and learn. A loan phone might be even more useful.
