I give up, I’ve tried like 20 GCam versions, over the past two days, only one worked fairly decent, but still had some issues in /e/ R Android 11.
They worked better in Q, but I don’t want to use Android 10.
I’ll just stick to the Open Camera for now in R Android 11.
Hopefully some future updates in /e/ will improve.
