Is there a way to share a location without depending on Google maps?

Hi everyone. I would like to share my location, and have my daughter (on android) to share her location me without depending ob Google, is there solutions ? thanks for sharing your solutions.

thank you for your effort, but I’m looking for a full time share wherever she goes I want to see the location. (it could be every 10 min or so or on request on my side, but permanent on her side).

what most of you try to avoid is beeing tracked. what I want is a way to (privately) keep track of my daughter movements. (an my daughter to know mine).

You are right, there is a difference. Actually, I don’t know any free and open source solution to this need. Maybe others will.
