Im trying hard to get e-Os, but Im desisting, because all the devices I tried are not working or buggy:
Asus - Cannot unlock
Motorola→ One I did not got to work (false build for moto g6 plus, the other tethering and hot spot not working).
Samsung
S9 → Worked for a while, battery not working any more (heated up)
S9+) → Not a working model.
So only phone that could work and is available on the marked is the Fairphone (really expensive) and Google Pixel (come on, google?).
Searched for others, but not available. And I already spend a lot of money on used phones (not usable for me….
Hi, just about the hotspot issue. From my experience on some phones you need to indicate dial up network fot that facility to work. On some handset I just had to amend the APN name adding after a space DUN to it and then hot spot magically started working
I don’t know if that’s the case with that motorola of yours but might be worth trying?

I installed a new SIM Card. Same result. Then I tried the same SIM Card with my Samsung S9 (which has e-os 3.2 installed, but battery problems) and it worked (tethering and hotspot).
So I conclude:
Hotspot/ Tethering with e-os 3.2 works on Samsung S9
Hotspot/ Tethering with e-os 3.2 does not work with motorola one vision
I will have to go back to stock Rom or use two phones then.
Here is the link. Do not have the phone anymore.
