Issues with App Lounge in /e/OS 3.1.1 and 3.1.4

Hi

Since /e/OS 3.1.1 I have issues with App Lounge on multiple Smartphones. I have installed /e/OS on

  • Oneplus 7T
  • Oneplus 8T
  • Xiaomi Mi 10Tpro
  • Goolge Pixel 7a

an face the same problem on all of them. App Lounge is not able to find app updates, neither in the background after booting the phone nor interactive inside the app. If I click inside App Lounge on the icon “Updates” all I get is a forever spinning circle. Apps aren’t updated since weeks nor any updates found. I already tried rebooting the phone, clearing the app cache, clearing the app storage and even factory resetting one of the phones. Nothing helped. I also tried using App Lounge with anonymous and Google account. Also, no change.
First I thought it is only a problem on my Oneplus 8T phone but after I tested /e/OS on the other phones as well I see it’s currently affecting all my models. I tried also being in different networks (different Wifis, LTE etc.) to make sure it’s not related to my network.
Sure I can switch to Aurora and Aurora finds and installs updates. But in my opinion the built in App Lounge should be fixed.
What can I do to help getting this problem analyzed and fixed? Does anybody else faces similar problems?

Same phone, similar problems, though I believe it’s a case of Google moving the goalposts, then App Lounge devs having to adjust the app accordingly.

I’m not a dev, but that’s my basic understanding of it. App Lounge is our go between or secret agent that creates a degree of separation between you and Google.

Obviously Google doesn’t like this scenario, so they keep making it harder to achieve.
