I purchased my FP3+ with /e/ in march, I uses HP print services to acces my network printer and I worked with TC LAN (Total Commander plugin) to access Windows and Samba shares.
Since /e/ 0.16 printing and accessing Samba and Windows shares in my LAN does no longer work. I installed Termux and tried to ping other devices in the LAN, there is no reply.
When attempting to use the TC LAN plugin it seems to obtain the correct IP address of the PC with the samba share but a connection fails.
Assuming you use WiFi with DHCP address provisioning, is your DHCP server delivering Ipv6 addresses ?
If this is the case, please disable IPv6 in your DHCP server settings/pool.
Or manually change your WiFi network definition (advanced settings) to a static IPv4 address, in your phone
It’s not about completely disabling IPv6, just setting the DHCP to provide only IPv4.
Alternatively, if you set up manually a IPv4 address on your phone (not using DHCP), you wouldn’t have to change anything for your home network
Also, please note that although IPv6 seems to cause some problems for recent versions of /e/, this is only a first attempt to determine the source of your problem.
